Stay-behind Children in Myanmar, the Philippines and Indonesia: A Human Rights Perspective

We’re pleased to announce that we’ve eventually completed our baseline study. This study looks at the well-being of children of migrant workers, particularly those who stay behind in countries of origin or are unable to join their migrant parents as a result of selective labor migration regimes.

Zooming in on the experiences of stay-behind children in Myanmar, the Philippines and Indonesia, this study presents a window into understanding country-specific and common issues with regard to the protection of stay-behind children’s rights.
