Komnas HAM: Polisi Melakukan Pelanggaran HAM Serius dalam Kasus Buol |

Andi Saputra - detikNews Jakarta - Komnas HAM menduga polisi telah melakukan pelanggaran HAM serius dalam kerusuhan di Buol, Sulawesi Tengah (Sulteng), yang menewaskan 8 warga. Dari berbagai temuan di lapangan, Komnas HAM akan melaporkan ke Kapolri dan meminta polisi ditarik dari lokasi hingga situasi reda. "Kami mendapat temuan adanya dugaan pelanggaran HAM serius karena terkait dengan hak hidup orang dan pembunuhan di luar putusan pengadilan," kata Wakil Komnas HAM Ridha Saleh saat berbincang dengan detikcom, Selasa (7/9/2010). |

E Mei Amelia R - detikNews Jakarta - Sejak enam tahun lalu, kasus pembunuhan aktivis HAM Munir masih belum menemukan titik terang. Kasus tersebut bahkan kini cenderung meredup dan dilupakan oleh pemerintah. Setidaknya itulah yang dirasakan oleh pihak keluarga, khususnya istri Munir, Suciwati, dalam mengenang enam tahun kematian sang suami. |

The Jakarta Post, Jakarta The congregation of the Indonesian Christian Church (GKI) in Taman Yasmin, Bogor, West Java, on Sunday broke the padlock of their unfinished church and prayed together on the construction site in protest of the Bogor municipal administration’s decision to seal the church indefinitely.
“No one can revoke our constitutional right to worship. We have obtained all the required permits to build the church,” said Jayadi Damanik, a member of the congregation’s legal team. |

JHA / WASHINGTON Burma's Foreign Minister Nyan Win will attend the US-Asean summit convened by President Obama later this month in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session. The White House on Friday announced that Obama will host a meeting with leaders of the Association of South East Asian Nations (Asean). Obama has invited the leaders of the 10 Asean member states as well the Asean secretary-general to join him for the second ever US-Asean leaders' meeting, it said. |
